LB IV combines LB Active Substances with plants that are used in phytotherapy to facilitate digestion and to prevent motion sickness and related symptoms. 

LB IV acts on both the liver and the digestive system. It effectively relieves the following conditions:

• Hepatic weakness, digestive weakness, sluggish liver, constipation caused by hepatic dysfunction: hepatoprotective, cholagogue and choleretic;
• Motion sickness, nausea, vomiting, migraine;
• Turista: worry-free travelling to countries where water quality and food are different from what you are used to (flatulence, diarrhea, intestinal or gastric problems, etc.);
• Prolonged use of medicines that are harmful to the liver.

Ginger helps to prevent nausea and vomiting related to motion or sea sickness. Ginger also relieves flatulence and digestive discomfort.

Turmeric is a spice with a high antioxidant content. It protects the liver, and it stimulates the secretion and flow of bile. Turmeric also helps digestion and relieves flatulent dyspepsia.

Cayenne pepper helps digestion.

LB IV can be combined with LB Premium to help strengthen body’s immunity and natural defenses.

LB IV is formulated with a proprietary ingredient: LB Active Substances. This compound has many beneficial properties associated with the strain used: LB-Strain Lactobacillus acidophilus. LB Strain is a natural strain of Lactobacillus acidophilus found in the normal resident microflora. Isolated in 1907 by Doctor Pierre Boucard, LBstrain (Lactobacillus Boucard) is preserved at Pasteur Institute, which guarantees its stability as well as the continuity of its biochemical and genetic characteristics (no contact with antibiotic substances, no mutation). LB Strain’s unique properties, which have been demonstrated by many high-standard international studies (Medline publications), inspired the development of a new generation of active principles intended for the digestive ecosystem: LB Active Substances, or Actibiotics.

LB Active Substances combine thermostabilized LB-Strain Lactobacillus acidophilus with their fermented culture medium. This “thermostable LB bacteria + active metabolites” combination has a prebiotic, antimicrobic, immunological and cellular effect. It will not upset the balance of each individual’s intestinal flora.

MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS PER TABLET:

Ginger – 84 mg (Zingiber officinale Roscoe) (Rhizome);
Turmeric – 50 mg (Curcuma longa L) (Rhizome); 
Lactobacillus acidophilus – 10 mg (Active LB strain);
Chili Pepper – 6 mg (Capsicum annuum L) (Fruit).

RECOMMENDED DOSE (ADULTS):

3 tablets 2 times a day, ½ to 1 h before meals, or as advised by your health care practitioner; to prevent motion sickness, 1 tablet ½ h before departure, then every 4 h.
